I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a certificate in Data Science. Driven by curiosity and creativity, I combine software engineering and data analytics to build projects that uncover meaningful insights and deliver practical solutions. My interests include data visualization, data collection, and full-stack development. Outside of work, I love baking, creative writing, and both playing and developing video games.
This preliminary research project explores the insights that can be drawn from publicly available information on large companies. Currently, the project uses RStudio to process and analyze data on Netflix subscription prices in relation to global economic indicators such as purchasing power index and average monthly income. While this initial phase provides a surface-level view, the project aims to push the boundaries of public data analysis to better understand the behaviors and strategies of major corporations.

Future plans include expanding the research to additional companies using custom-built data collection tools, moving data analysis tools from RStudio to Python, as well as enhancing this website's front end to share findings in a more accessible way.
This website is an ongoing project that I have built from scratch using Nuxt.js, SCSS, and TypeScript. The layout, content, and deployment are at a solid baseline, but improvements to the visual design, usability, and overall functionality are in progress. I created this site independently to deepen my full-stack development skills, particularly with an atypical tech stack.

Planned enhancements include interactive elements and API development to expand the available tools for future projects. A major focus will be enriching the business analysis section by integrating data visualizations, including an interactive map. I am also exploring the possibility of adding a dynamic dashboard, though evolving the site beyond its current static nature may present significant challenges.
This year, I collaborated on a research project focused on Personal Health De-identification—developing methods to remove sensitive information from health records. Much of the early work involved using regular expressions to identify and redact key phrases. However, as the project progressed, it became clear that machine learning tools were necessary to improve accuracy. We initially implemented a BERT model, which was later replaced by spaCy for greater efficiency.

This project was eye-opening and provided insight into the complexities of working with health data. One of the most challenging aspects was designing effective de-identification techniques despite limited access to real health records. Since the very nature of the problem requires strict privacy, there were few resources available both to train models and to validate results. In the future, I hope to apply the skills I developed on this project to areas such as sentiment analysis and clustering in other data collection efforts.
There are a few projects currently in development. The website itself is an ongoing effort, with more details available in its dedicated section. Beyond this, I am working on two additional projects with different areas of focus.

The first is a data collection project aimed at applying data analysis and computer science to gather and process information independently, rather than relying on second-hand sources like Kaggle. This project will incorporate sentiment analysis, web scraping, and clustering techniques to explore patterns and insights in the data. Inspired by my ongoing business analysis research, I also hope to uncover valuable insights about the current video game market.

The second is a more creatively driven endeavor: developing a collection of narrative-focused video games. The goal is to tell a story piece by piece through interactive experiences that combine creativity, artistry, and thoughtful design. This project will be developed using Godot for game development, Aseprite for pixel art, and Audacity for audio production. This project is in the very early stages of development and aims to help me learn a variety of tools in the game design space.
